Data Export Portal

The Data Export Portal allows you to get detailed reports regarding Transactions, Orders, Balance, Sales, Tax, Foreign Exchange Gain / Loss, Receipts, Payment Gateway Transactions and your Customer / Sub-Reseller details, delivered to any email
address of your choice. These reports are in standard CSV (Comma Separated Value) format and will open with any spreadsheet software like Microsoft Excel, Open Office, etc. or
database software like Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL, etc..

To Place a Request to Export your Account-related Data

  1. Login to your Reseller Control Panel. See details

  2. Under Quick Links, click the CSV Data Export link.

  3. In the Select Data to Export drop-down Menu, select the type of Report you want to generate:

    Contacts (Anchor: contacts)

    Selecting this option generates a report of all Contacts associated with domain names. The report
    contains the following fields:

    • contact_id: This is the Contact's Id.

    • name: This is the Contact's Name.

    • company: This is the Contact's Company Name.

    • email_address: This is the Contact's Email Address.

    • address_1: This is 1st Line of the Address of the Contact.

    • address_2: This is 2nd Line of the Address of the Contact.

    • address_3: This is 3rd Line of the Address of the Contact.

    • city: This is City in the Address of the Contact.

    • state: This is State in the Address of the Contact.

    • country: This is Country in the Address of the Contact.

    • zip: This is Postal Code or Zip Code in the Address of the Contact.

    • tel_no_country_code: This is Country Dialing Code of the Contact.

    • tel_no: This is Telephone Number of the Contact.

    • fax_no_country_code: This is Country Dialing Code of the Contact's FAX (Facsimile) Number.

    • fax_no: This is FAX (Facsimile) Number of the Contact.

    • customer_id: This is the Customer Id to whom this Contact belongs.

    • current_status: A Contact's Status may either be:

      • Active

      • Deleted

    • creation_date: This is the date when the Contact was created under your Customer's account.

    Customer Details (Anchor: customer)

    Selecting this option generates a report containing the following fields:

    • customer_id: This is the Customer's Id.

    • user_name: This is your Customer's Username.

    • language_preference: This 2-letter code represents the language chosen by your Customer in his/her Profile.

    • customer_status: Your Customer's Status may either be:

      • Active

      • Suspended

      • Deleted

    • name: This is your Customer's Name.

    • company: This is your Customer's Company Name.

    • address_1: This is 1st Line of the Address of your Customer.

    • address_2: This is 2nd Line of the Address of your Customer.

    • address_3: This is 3rd Line of the Address of your Customer.

    • city: This is City in the Address of your Customer.

    • state: This is State in the Address of your Customer.

    • country: This is Country in the Address of your Customer.

    • zip: This is Postal Code or Zip Code in the Address of your Customer.

    • tel_no_country_code: This is Country Dialing Code of your Customer.

    • tel_no: This is Telephone Number of your Customer.

    • alt_tel_no_country_code: This is alternate Country Dialing Code of your Customer.

    • alt_tel_no: This is alternate Telephone Number of your Customer.

    • fax_no_country_code: This is Country Dialing Code of your Customer's FAX (Facsimile) Number.

    • fax_no: This is FAX (Facsimile) Number of your Customer.

    • mobile_no_country_code: This is Country Dialing Code of your Customer's Mobile (Cell Phone) Number.

    • mobile_no: This is Mobile (Cell Phone) Number of your Customer.

    • total_receipts: This value is the Total Receipts that the Customer has with you.

    • receive_mailer: This indicates whether your Customer has indicated in his/her Mail Preferences if he/she wishes to receive
      emails from the system. The following are the values that you can expect:

      • true: This indicates that your Customer has indicated that he/she wishes to receive emails from the system.

      • false: This indicates that your Customer has indicated that he/she does not wish to receive emails from the system.

    • creation_date: This is the date when the Customer had signed up under your account.

    Product Orders - Digital Certificate (Anchor: pdigicert)

    Selecting this option generates a report containing the following fields:

    • order_id: This is the Order Id of the Digital Certificate Order.

    • domain_name: This is the Domain Name for which the Digital Certificate has been ordered.

    • type: This indicates the type of Digital Certificate Order. The following are the types of Digital Certificate Orders that you can expect:

      • SGC SuperCert

      • Web Server Certificate

      • SSL123 Certificate

      • Wildcard Server Certificate

    • no_of_years: This indicates the number of years the Order has been ordered for.

    • creation_date: This indicates the Date when the Order was added.

    • customer_id: This is the Customer's Id.

    • current_status: This indicates the Status of the Order. The following are the values that you can expect:

      • Active

      • Inactive

      • Suspended

      • Deleted

    • expiry_date: This is the Expiry Date of the Order.

    • provisioning_time: This indicates the time when the Digital Certificate was actually issued/provisioned.

    This report will only have Orders belonging to your direct Customers and will not include Orders of Customers under your Sub-Resellers.

    Product Orders - Domains (Anchor: pdomain)

    Selecting this option generates a report containing the following fields:

    • order_id: This is the Order Id of the Domain Name Order.

    • domain_name: This is the Domain Name.

    • no_of_years: This indicates the number of years the Order has been ordered for.

    • creation_date: This indicates the Date when the Order was added.

    • customer_id: This is the Customer's Id.

    • registrant_contact_id: This is the Id of the Registrant Contact, associated with this domain name.

    • admin_contact_id: This is the Id of the Administrative Contact, associated with this domain name.

    • tech_contact_id: This is the Id of the Technical Contact, associated with this domain name.

    • billing_contact_id: This is the Id of the Billing Contact, associated with this domain name.

    • current_status: This indicates the Status of the Order. The following are the values that you can expect:

      • Active

      • Inactive

      • Suspended

      • Pending Delete Restorable

      • Deleted

    • expiry_date: This is the Expiry Date of the Order.

    • theft_protection: This indicates whether Domain Theft Protection has been enabled for the domain name.
      The following are the values that you can expect:

      • true: This indicates that Domain Theft Protection has been enabled for the domain name.

      • false: This indicates that Domain Theft Protection has been disabled for the domain name.

    • reseller_lock: This indicates whether Reseller Lock has been enabled for the domain name.
      The following are the values that you can expect:

      • true: This indicates that Reseller Lock has been enabled for the domain name.

      • false: This indicates that Reseller Lock has been disabled for the domain name.

    • is_privacy_protected: This indicates whether Privacy Protection has been enabled for the domain name.
      The following are the values that you can expect:

      • true: This indicates that Privacy Protection has been enabled for the domain name.

    • provisioning_time: This indicates the time when the domain name was actually registered/provisioned.

    Product Orders - Web Services (Anchor: pwebs)

    Selecting this option generates a report containing the following fields:

    • order_id: This is the Order Id of the Web Services Order.

    • domain_name: This is the Domain Name for the Web Services Order.

    • customer_id: This is the Customer's Id.

    • creation_date: This indicates the date when the Web Services Order was added.

    • provisioning_time: This indicates the time when the Web Services Order was actually activated/provisioned.

    • end_time: This is the Expiry Date of the Web Services Order.

    • current_status: This indicates the Status of the Web Services Order. The following are the values that you can expect:

      • Active

      • Inactive

      • Suspended

      • Deleted

    • plan_name: This is the name of the Web Services Plan.

    • no_of_mail_accounts: This indicates the number of Email Accounts provisioned for the Web Services Order.

    • web_space: This indicates the amount of Web Space (in MB) provisioned for the Web Services Order.

    • bandwidth: This indicates the amount of Bandwidth (in MB) provisioned for the Web Services Order.

    • category: This indicates the Web Services Plans type/category. The following are the values that you can expect:

      • Email Only Plans

      • Windows Web Hosting and Email Plans

      • Linux Web Hosting and Email Plans

      • Website Builder Plans

    • no_of_pages: If the category is Website Builder Plan, then this indicates the Number of Pages that have been
      provisioned for this Web Services Order.

    Product Orders - Multi Domain Hosting (Anchor: multidomain)

    Selecting this option generates a report containing the following fields:

    • order_id: This is the Order Id of the Multi Domain Hosting Order.

    • domain_name: This is the Domain Name for the Multi Domain Hosting Order.

    • customer_id: This is the Customer's Id.

    • creation_date: This indicates the date when the Multi Domain Hosting Order was added.

    • provisioning_time: This indicates the time when the Multi Domain Hosting Order was actually activated/provisioned.

    • end_time: This is the Expiry Date of the Multi Domain Hosting Order.

    • current_status: This indicates the Status of the Multi Domain Hosting Order. The following are the values that you can expect:

      • Active

      • Inactive

      • Suspended

      • Deleted

    • platform_type: This is the type of the Operating System offered under the Multi Domain Hosting Order. The Operating System maybe:

      • linux

      • windows

    • plan_name: This is the name of the Multi Domain Hosting Plan.

    • web_space: This indicates the amount of Web Space (in MB) provisioned for the Multi Domain Hosting Order.

    • bandwidth: This indicates the amount of Bandwidth (in MB) provisioned for the Multi Domain Hosting Order.

    • no_of_addon_domains: This indicates the number of Addon Domains that can be hosted through this Multi Domain Hosting Order.

      Note

      Addon Domains are additional domain names, apart from the primary domain name, hosted under a Multi Domain Hosting Order.

    Product Orders - Reseller Hosting (Anchor: resellerhosting)

    Selecting this option generates a report containing the following fields:

    • order_id: This is the Order Id of the Reseller Hosting Order.

    • domain_name: This is the Domain Name for the Reseller Hosting Order.

    • customer_id: This is the Customer's Id.

    • creation_date: This indicates the date when the Reseller Hosting Order was added.

    • provisioning_time: This indicates the time when the Reseller Hosting Order was actually activated/provisioned.

    • end_time: This is the Expiry Date of the Reseller Hosting Order.

    • current_status: This indicates the Status of the Reseller Hosting Order. The following are the values that you can expect:

      • Active

    • reseller_status: This displays either Active or Suspended depending upon your Sub-Reseller's Status.

    • total_receipts: This value is the Total Receipts that the Sub-Reseller has with you, in your Selling Currency.

    • receive_mailer: This indicates whether your Sub-Reseller has indicated in his/her Mail Preferences if he/she wishes to receive
      emails from the system. The following are the values that you can expect:

      • true: This indicates that your Sub-Reseller has indicated that he/she wishes to receive emails from the system.

      • false: This indicates that your Sub-Reseller has indicated that he/she does not wish to receive emails from the system.

    • creation_date: This is the date when the Sub-Reseller had signed up as your Reseller.

    • activation_date: This is the date when your Sub-Reseller's account was activated.

    Transactions with Customers (Anchor: tcustomer)

    Selecting this option generates a report containing the following fields:

    • transaction_id: This is the Transaction Id.

    • type: This is the Type of transaction. The following are the values that you can expect:

      • invoice: This indicates that the transaction is an Invoice.

      • debit: This indicates that the transaction is a Debit Note.

      • receipt: This indicates that the transaction is a Receipt.

      • credit: This indicates that the transaction is a Credit Note.

    • customer_id: This is the Customer's Id.

    • selling_amount: This indicates the amount the Customer paid.

    • selling_currency_symbol: This indicates the Currency Symbol of the amount due/paid by the Customer.

    • accounting_amount: This indicates the transaction amount in your Accounting Currency Symbol.

    • accounting_currency_symbol: This indicates your Accounting Currency Symbol.

    • pending_selling_amount: This implies differently depending on the type of transaction:

      • Invoice and Debit Note: This indicates the amount that is still payable (to you) from your Customer from the Selling Amount.

      • Receipt and Credit Note: This indicates the amount that is still available in the transaction for utilization by your Customer,
        from the Selling Amount.

    • pending_accounting_amount: This implies differently depending on the type of transaction:

      • Invoice and Debit Note: This indicates the amount in your own Accounting Currency Symbol equivalent of the amount still payable (to you)
        by your Customer.

      • Receipt and Credit Note: This indicates the amount in your own Accounting Currency Symbol equivalent of the amount still available in the
        transaction for utilization by your Customer.

    • description: This is the description given for the transaction.

      • true: This indicates that this transaction affected the Total Receipts figure of the Customer. In case of Invoice and Debit Note transactions, this implies that the
        Customer's Total Receipts figure got depleted. While in case of Receipt and Credit Note transactions, this implies that the Customer's Total Receipts figure increased.

      • false: This indicates that this transaction did not affect the Total Receipts figure of the Customer.

    • is_greedy: This indicates if the Invoice or Debit Note transaction is Greedy. The following
      are the values that you can expect:

      • true: This indicates that this Invoice or Debit Note transaction is Greedy.

      • false: This indicates that this Invoice or Debit Note transaction is not Greedy.

    Transactions with Parent Reseller (Anchor: tparent)

    Selecting this option generates a report containing the following fields:

    • transaction_id: This is the Transaction Id.

    • type: This is the Type of transaction. The following are the values that you can expect:

      • invoice: This indicates that the transaction is an Invoice.

      • debit: This indicates that the transaction is a Debit Note.

      • receipt: This indicates that the transaction is a Receipt.

      • credit: This indicates that the transaction is a Credit Note.

    • selling_amount: This indicates the amount you paid .

    • selling_currency_symbol: This indicates the Currency Symbol of the amount due/paid by you to

      • invoice: This indicates that the transaction is an Invoice.

      • debit: This indicates that the transaction is a Debit Note.

      • receipt: This indicates that the transaction is a Receipt.

    • reseller_id: This is the Sub-Reseller's Id.

    • selling_amount: This indicates the amount the Sub-Reseller paid.

      are the values that you can expect:

      • true: This indicates that this Invoice or Debit Note transaction is Greedy.

      • false: This indicates that this Invoice or Debit Note transaction is not Greedy.

    Balance Report (Anchor: balance)

    Selecting this option generates a report of transactions performed against your Customers' / Sub-Resellers' Accounts. The difference between the sum total of all positive entries and the sum total of all negative entries for a Customer / Sub-Reseller reflects the associated Debit Account Balance. The report contains the following fields:

    • debit_transaction_id: This is the Transaction Id of a debit (Invoice / Debit Note) transaction. For a transaction (of the type forex_diff) involving Foreign Exchange Gain / Loss, it is the Transaction ID of the debit transaction which got balanced against a credit (Receipt / Credit Note) transaction.

    • credit_transaction_id: This is the Transaction Id of a credit (Receipt / Credit Note) transaction. For a transaction (of the type forex_diff) involving Foreign Exchange Gain / Loss, it is the Transaction ID of the credit transaction which got balanced against a debit (Invoice / Debit Note) transaction.

    • userid: This is the User Id.

    • user_company: This is the Company Name specified in the User's profile.

    • selling_amount: This indicates the transaction amount applicable to the User.

    • accounting_amount: This indicates the transaction amount in your Accounting Currency Symbol.

    • type: This indicates the Type of transaction amount. The following are the values that you can expect:

      • credit: This indicates a positive entry against the User's Debit Account.

      • debit: This indicates a negative entry against the User's Debit Account.

      • forex_diff: This indicates the Foreign Exchange Gain / Loss in a debit (Invoice / Debit Note) transaction.

    • role: This is Type of User associated with the transaction. The role may either be:

      • customer

      • reseller

    • transaction_time: This is indicates the timestamp when the transaction was recorded under the Sysyem.

    Forex Report (Anchor: forex)

    Selecting this option generates a report indicating whether you incurred a Profit or Loss by selling our various Products and Services to your Sub-Resellers and Customers. This Report would be useful to you only if your Selling Currency differs from your Accounting Currency within our system. The report contains the following fields:

    • debit_transaction_id: This is the Transaction ID of the debit (Invoice / Debit Note) transaction which got balanced against a credit (Receipt / Credit Note) transaction.

    • credit_transaction_id: This is the Transaction ID of the credit (Receipt / Credit Note) transaction which got balanced against a debit (Invoice / Debit Note) transaction.

    • userid: This is the User Id.

    • product_key: This is indicates the type of Product for which the transaction was recorded.

    • transaction_type: This is the Type of transaction. The following are the values that you can expect:

      • debit: This indicates that the transaction is a Debit Note.

      • invoice: This indicates that the transaction is an Invoice.

    • role: This is Type of user associated with the transaction. The role may either be:

      • customer

      • reseller

      • serviceprovider

    • user_country: This is the Country specified in the User's profile.

    • forex_diff: This indicates the foreign exchange gain or loss incurred on the transaction.

    • transaction_time: This is indicates the timestamp when the transaction was recorded under the System.

    Payment Gateway Report (Anchor: pg)

    Selecting this option generates a report indicating all Funds added by your Sub-Reseller/Customer himself via any Payment Gateway configured by you. The report contains the following fields:

    • transaction_id: This is the Transaction Id.

    • userid: This is the User Id.

    • role: This is Type of user associated with the transaction. The role may either be:

      • customer

      • reseller

    • type: This is the Type of transaction. The following are the values that you can expect:

      • addfund: This indicates that the transaction was performed to add funds to the User's Debit Account.

      • payment: This indicates that the transaction was performed to settle pending Invoice(s) / Debit Note(s) raised against the User's Debit Account.

    • selling_amount: This indicates the amount the user paid.

    • accounting_amount: This indicates the transaction amount in your Accounting Currency Symbol.

    • gateway_amount: This indicates the transaction amount in the Currency Symbol enabled for the Payment Gateway.

    • selling_amount_fee: This indicates the Payment Gateway transaction charge.

    • accounting_amount_fee: This indicates the Payment Gateway transaction charge in your Accounting Currency Symbol.

    • gateway_amount_fee: This indicates the Payment Gateway transaction charge in the Currency Symbol enabled for the Payment Gateway.

    • user_country: This is the Country specified in the User's profile.

    • gateway_name: This is the Payment Gateway Name.

    • transaction_time: This is indicates the timestamp when the transaction was recorded under the Sysyem.

    Receipt Report (Anchor: receipt)

    Selecting this option generates a report indicating all Funds manually added in your Sub-Reseller/Customer's Debit Account by you. The report contains the following fields:

    • transaction_id: This is the Transaction Id.

    • userid: This is the User Id.

    • role: This is Type of user associated with the transaction. The role may either be:

      • customer

      • reseller

    • type: This is the Type of transaction. The following are the values that you can expect:

      • manual_receipt: This indicates a manually added Receipt.

      • manual_credit: This indicates a manually added Credit Note.

      • credit_on_cancelled_debit: This indicates a manually added Credit Note raised to settle a canclled Debit Note.

    • selling_amount: This indicates the amount the user paid.

    • accounting_amount: This indicates the transaction amount in your Accounting Currency Symbol.

    • user_country: This is the Country specified in the User's profile.

    • transaction_time: This is indicates the timestamp when the transaction was recorded under the Sysyem.

    Sales Report (Anchor: sales)

    Selecting this option generates a report indicating the Sales made through your Reseller Account. The report contains the following fields:

    • transaction_id: This is the Transaction Id.

    • userid: This is the User Id.

    • product_key: This indicates the type of Product for which the transaction was recorded.

      Example:

      If the Product Key displayed is domcno, then it indicates that this transaction is for a .COM domain name.

      If the Product Key displayed is hosting, then it indicates that this transaction is for a Web Services Order.

    • product_transaction_key: This indicates action on the Product for which the transaction was recorded.

      Example:

      If the Product Transaction Key displayed is salesreversal-deletion-domcno, then it indicates that this transaction is for the deletion of a .COM domain name.

      If the Product Transaction Key displayed is salesreversal-deletion-hosting, then it indicates that this transaction is for the deletion of a Web Services Order.

    • transaction_time: This is indicates the timestamp when the transaction was recorded under the Sysyem.

    • description: This indicates the Action on an Order that resulted in the transaction.

    Tax Report (Anchor: tax)

    Selecting this option generates a report indicating the Tax accrued or collected. The report contains the following fields:

    • debit_transaction_id: This is the Transaction ID of the debit (Invoice / Debit Note) transaction involving tax.

    • credit_transaction_id: This is the Transaction ID of the credit (Receipt / Credit Note) transaction involving tax.

    • userid: This is the User Id.

    • product_key: This indicates the type of Product for which the transaction was recorded.

      Example:

      If the Product Key displayed is domcno, then it indicates that this transaction is for a .COM domain name.

      If the Product Key displayed is hosting, then it indicates that this transaction is for a Web Services Order.

  4. Click the From textbox. In the datepicker pop-up, select the date from when you would like the report to be generated from.

  5. Click the To textbox. In the datepicker pop-up, select the date until when you would like the report to be generated for.

  6. In the Email textbox, mention the email address where you would like to have this Report emailed.

    Note

    Upon delivery of the Report to the abovementioned email address, a notification mail is sent to your Sales email address confirming that the Report has been sent (to that email address). This notice ensures
    that your Sales Team is aware of such a Report having been sent to some other email address.

  7. Click the Submit Request button to place a request for generating this report.

Upon submitting your request, your request will be immediately logged in the Data Export Task History interface.

Understanding the Data Export Task History (Anchor: history)

Note

The Data Export Task History page displays:

  • data export requests made within the last three months

  • latest 100 data export requests

  • Date Requested: This indicates the date when the report generation was requested by you.

  • Report Type: This is the type of report you requested.

  • Time Period: This is the time range you requested this report for.

  • Emailed To: This indicates the email address you requested to send this report to.

  • Status: The following are the values that you can expect:

    • Waiting to be processed: This indicates that the report you requested is queued by the server and will be processed shortly.

      Note

      Upon submission of your report generation request, the Data Export Task History would immediately display the status as Waiting to be processed.
      You may click the Refresh icon besides Data Export Task History in the interface to know if your request has been processed by the server.

    • Executing: This indicates that the report is being processed by the server.

    • Completed: This indicates that the report has been emailed to the email address you mentioned.

    • Execution failed: This indicates that the report generation failed.

      Note

      Typically, this happens when the time range you specified to generate the report, caused the system to generate a report larger than 10 Megabytes (MB) in size.

      It is recommended that you select a shorter time range and retry.

    • Request cancelled: This indicates that the report you requested has been cancelled by
